fast scan, easy to operate, the perfect software I am looking for!

Thanks to this application I was able to easily find 5503 duplicates in my grandpa’s iPhoto library. Some photos duplicated 5-9 times in different event folders. This application has saved literally many many hours! Thank you!

easy to use but i’m still finding numerous duplicates.

Downloaded the App, started as prescribed, went to bed and voilà; next morning over 500 duplicates found and liberated over 3GB on my hard disk. What can I say, it’s a sleeper. Nice to find an App that works as described. Tried other duplicate finders before and was always hesitant to hit the delete button because they either found too many variants of the same picture but of different file size (which usually means I modified them with ACDSee) or different picture with same moniker.

They app did exactly what it said it would do. Quick and easy to use!

I had high hopes but after the app spents over an hour selecting duplicates and an other 3 deleting them, I opened iPhoto to find that the duplicates were still there, in abundance. Tried again. Same result

I knew I had many duplicates but with this app (and free too) it quickly reviewed & separated them - nice to have a photo library with no duplicate (or triplicate) photos

Excellent program… took care of 400 annoying duplicates! Performs as promised!

Might work for small libraries but mine is 60,000+ and had 4000+ dups. On yosemite, super slow, and thinks that iPhoto is busy when doing nothing. Delete per picture takes 5 seconds. Had to scan 3 times before it started deleting. Then app opened up and said database changed when I did nothing. And it takes like 10 hours to scan the whole database…again. Would be great if it actually worked. Faster to search manually and delete duplicate events. Even with 4000. Looking for alternative or waiting for a patch. Sounds like someone else had the same issue.

I wasnt expecting too much from a free app to be honest….at first i had teouble getting it to select my photo library…I have 13,500 some odd photos and videos…years of transfering HD’s to new macs and I got lazy with the cataloging at some point…. and my library was taking up almost 100 Gb. I thought it would take forever to scan that many photos but it finished in about 30 mins or so and saved me 5.5 GB!! (around 600 pics and vids duplicated and triplicated! lol) good stuff, totally worth it :)

I downloaded from the app store but like others it would not work. It would say that iPhoto had stopped responding, etc. I clicked on the “Send Feedback” link on the bottom right of the application and received a response from support within 24 hours. They supplied me with a link to test a beta version and it worked first time, found 261 duplicates for a total of 7.7 gb. For me the space savings really came from the identification of video duplicates.

Great product. It is really a click and leave it to work app. Did the job cleanly and quietly - and saved me nearly 3 gigs!

I am using v1.8.1 on an iMac (late 2013) and contrary to other reports, there was no stalling or unresponsiveness. For a free app, it found hundreds of duplicates (thanks it seems mainly to WhatsApp colliding with iCloud stream). So far so good. Thanks for the app.

App works well at finding duplicates but is extremely slow. It took 24 hours to find and delete only half of the duplicates on my computer.

iPhoto with Yosemite on my mac mini…cleaned up my files of about 4500 photos in about 3 minutes…from finding the app to trash bin…found about 10% of photos duplicated…this is the first step in a major overhaul of my photo filing process linking..camera, dropbox, iPhoto, iPod, iPad, and i Phone…plan to save several gigs when done…and have more effective diplays and recalls.
