Duplicate Cleaner For iPhoto App Reviews

I was skeptical when I downloaded this but it did exactly what it claimed. In a matter of a couple minutes it had recognizes all my duplicate pictures and videos in iPhoto. I double checked to make sure they were duplicates because I didn’t want to delete anything important but they all were:) Then with the push of a button you can send those duplicates to the trash. Now I just need something this simple and fast for iTunes:)

Easy to use and really works !!

Using an old version of IPhoto and uploaded over 350 duplicates when I exported photos from my IPhone. Worked perfectly to delete all the duplicates on my computer.

It worked well in Japanese Language environment. wish if it work a little bit faster..

Over 10 years of experience in the IT and I can tell this is the stupidest app I have ever seen. I have over 300 duplicates and it would not find a single one!

google search on Duplicate Cleaner for IPhoto by ‘systweak’ company revealed their true face, big time scammers wrote fake reviews to scam mac users as well. they have successfully scammed many windows users. DO NOT call their support numbers then you will regret , since it will go to India support line and they try to connect to your mac remotely and get your serial number ( that point I disconnected their remote connection and called Apple support and they ran full system check to makesure no harm is done.) The main problem is no one punishing this type of scam companies so they continue their business as usual.

When I run the program it complains that iPhoto is ‘busy’ and try again later. It also causes iPhoto to run at 100% CPU and iPhoto becomes unresponsive and needs to be forcefully stopped.

This is a very good tool for those who duplicate their imported images. I don’t know why Apple doesn’t include this feature in iPhoto. iPhoto should has better photo management feature asap.

I had duplicates of every photo in my iLibrary. They were driving me crazy. This application quickly identified and removed all the duplicates to iPhoto trash. At this time, it`s free, and I highly recommend a try.

I prefer to version 1.10’s specification because 1.10 can run with running iPhoto simultaneously, UI is more simple than 1.11.6 for App only supports iPhoto and now the localization for Japanese is so cheep that I would like to use 1.10 in English mode. I wish I could download and use 1.10 or older specification one as another App.

This is truly an amazing App. Fast (35000 pics in a few minutes) and reliable. One can jump in at anytime and change preferences (what pic to delete, etc).

Quite quick and easy to use. İphoto open in background and quick scan and send to trash and finished.

I have more than 2000 dublicates due to recover from backup and importing from my phone. This app managed to find 36 photos only. Funny...
