Duplicate Cleaner For iPhoto App Reviews

Just downloaded, opened, then opened iPhoto. Scanned for duplicates and deleted duplicates in about iPhoto trash in about 4 minutes. Didn’t have many, only 24 MB worth but why waste space. Your deleted photos are still available in "iPhoto trash" until you actually delete them there. Great simple app.

Downloaded this app and worked exactly as described. Great app and definitely recommend it!!

I have tried other applications and this one works the best by far.

…an error that was resolved by “Repairing” the database. Hold Option + Command down when starting Iphoto and repair database and repair permissions. Than restart Duplicate Cleaner and enjoy!

It did exactly what it claims to do. I couldnt even find the duplicate that it listed when searching myself in finder, but it was a duplicate. Deleted one that was flagged and original was still there. I wish it was faster though. Searching about 7000 pics took it around 15 minutes. But it freed up about 3.5 GB.

Had to move my library, and found that I had a bunch of duplicates after the move. I started manually deleting then, and then I came accross this app. Saved a ton of time.

I had accidentally re-restored photos with 25K+ duplicates found. Though it took nearly 9 days to complete, it worked quietly in the background and saved me a ~120GB of space. Strong recommendation!

Just used it. Haven’t looked through everything closely yet but almost seems to be too good to be true - worked seamlessly...

I started this process on Thursday morning. The initial scan didnt take very long but the process of moving the duplicates to the trash took the entire rest of the day and evening. It finally finished on Thursday morning. I had 4000 duplicates though so I am glad to have them removed no matter how long it took.

I have gone through my iPhoto library and have seen duplicates . This program doesn’t pick them up at all. So far I’d say it’s useless.

I like this program very much. I too, started deleting duplicates manually & despaired of ever finishing. This program was mentioned on You Tube. Im very happy to have found it.

That said it had quite a few phots to go through, about 7 mins to do 1500 odd photos, found almost 100 MB of duplicates, so overall worthwhile.

Looks like everything worked just as expected.

It cleaned up all the deplicated photos from my iPHONE app. So easy, and so far I see no problems.
